Virtual Farm Tour

The Hollygrove Market & Farm can be described in words, but we think its best to let pictures do the talking. Here is a virtual tour for those who haven't yet had a chance to visit.

The farm plots on site are occupied by experienced growers whose plots educate interested residents while providing produce for market. The Growers Pavilion was designed by Tulane City Center to tie the site together and serve as a demonstration as well as storage area. The butterfly roof drains into a 1000 gallon catchment tank. Our original community garden space holds four community gardeners. Flowers, herbs, and vegetables can be seen throughout the year in these plots. Our chicken coop serves to educate those interested in having chickens in an urban setting. With only ten laying hens, we get about four dozen eggs per week, all of which are sold in the market. These new community gardens were built due to an increase in Hollygrove residents desiring community garden plots.
